March 20 is the [UN International Day of Happiness](https://www.un.org/en/observances/happiness-day), a day that reminds us to celebrate joy and well-being despite challenging times. As we mark nearly five years since the global COVID-19 confinement, resilience prevails – our ability to bounce back, live, and cherish moments of happiness, both big and small.

We asked our colleagues to share their definitions of happiness. One answered: "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦." At Intersec, [Tech for good](https://intersec.com/fr/pourquoi-intersec/tech-for-good?hsLang=en) is one of our core values. We strive to make the world a little better through our work, using technology to improve people's quality of life.

Here’s a small collection of the responses we gathered:

- “Enjoy simple things in everyday life: dropping my daughter to school, drinking tea at just the right temperature...”

- “Happiness is a warm bed, a loving family, and good food!”
- “Cosmic laughter!”
- "Working with people you can trust."
- “The feeling of being as light as a feather all day long, nothing to worry about”
