PRESS RELEASE_ Intersec joins United Nations' ITU to foster emergency telecommunications
Intersec's decision to join the Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) is rooted in its commitment to the "Early Warnings for All" (EW4All) initiative, launched by the United Nations in March 2022.
At Intersec, we embrace the 'Early Warnings for All' Initiative with a 2027 target for universal coverage. Alongside this initiative, the African Union, comprised of 55 member states, recently committed to "strengthening early warning systems and climate information services, as well as taking early action to protect lives, livelihoods and assets".

It illustrates how these system should be considered as a whole to properly anticipate and manage crises.
