ITU_ A pledge to help accelerate the adoption of mobile EWS

At the annual meeting of the ITU's Partner2Connect Digital Coalition held in Geneva on January 30, 2025, we had the opportunity to express our commitment to accelerating the adoption of mobile-enabled public warning systems, in line with the United Nations’ Early Warning for All initiative (EW4All).

"Technology-wise, we emphasize an easily implementable, user-centric, and multi-channel approach to emergency warnings leveraging proven technologies – Cell Broadcast and Location-based SMS – and global standards, particularly the Common Alerting Protocol."
