September 15, 2026 – Intersec, a French software company specializing in geolocation solutions and in the analysis of metadata generated by telecommunications networks, is continuing its development with the support of Entrepreneur Invest, which has been backing it with bond debt since 2024. Completed in August 2026, this new €7.7 million transaction allows the company to pursue the growth of its business in France and internationally. Since March 2026, Intersec has been owned by Tikehau, its anchor shareholder, Revaia and the management team .
Founded in 2004 by Yann Chevalier and Jean-Marc Coïc, Intersec develops solutions that enable telecom operators and public authorities to exploit mobile network metadata in real time, in order to address challenges relating to the safety of populations, regulatory compliance and operational performance. The company has 135 employees, 40% of whom are dedicated to R&D, and serves 90 customers across 50 countries.
Designed and developed in France, Intersec’s offering is built on a proprietary platform that combines mobile metadata and artificial intelligence to deliver analytics in the service of civil protection, homeland security and innovation in the telecommunications sector, and processes data from more than one billion people and connected objects.
A dynamic market driven by innovation
The international context, with geopolitical tensions and growing environmental risks, as well as the French context, with the strengthening of investment in national security, are among the factors providing fertile ground for the growth of Intersec’s business.
In addition, the acceleration of technological progress (rollout of 5G networks, continued adoption of smartphones and of AI), coupled with regulatory changes, is leading operators to relaunch tenders and to renew their platforms, thereby reshaping the competitive landscape.
Continued long-term financial support through debt instruments
Entrepreneur Invest is continuing its support through a new €7.7 million bond financing, which follows the first transaction that took place in August 2024. In the meantime, Intersec has restructured its shareholding with the arrival of Tikehau as anchor shareholder and of Revaia, alongside the fully involved long-standing management team.
This new financing reflects Entrepreneur Invest’s determination to support the companies and entrepreneurs it finances over the long term, as their needs evolve: shareholding restructuring, financing of external growth transactions, refinancing of existing debt.
This transaction constitutes a new investment by the FCPR Entrepreneurs & Rendement Horizon.
Launched in May 2026, this first perpetual (evergreen) fund is intended to provide lasting support to European SMEs. This format allows the management team to adapt to the financing needs of portfolio companies by combining bonds of varying maturities. For investors, the fund enables a gradual optimization of portfolio diversification and dynamic cash management.
