Intersec has named Vicks Kanagasingam VP of Asia Pacific

Paris, July 4th, 2014 - Intersec is pleased to announce the appointment of Vicks Kanagasingam as Vice-President of Asia Pacific reporting to Gary Buchwald Intersec’s CCO.Vicks responsibilities will include establishing and coordinating Intersec’s business expansion strategy in this specific area. Speaking on his appointment to the role, Vicks saidI am very excited to be part of an innovative and dynamic organisation with proven solutions for CSPs. Our key goal is to add APAC to Intersec’s world map truly consolidating and strengthening our position as a serious global provider of smart data
soluti
ons in the telecoms industry.

Vicks Kanagasingam holds an engineering degree from the University of Leicester, in the UK, where he won the National Westminster Bank Award for demonstrating special leadership skills. He occupied various leadership roles in Sales, Business Development and Operations in the Telecommunications & IT industry. Vicks went on to hold the position of VP of Operations in APAC at Telemedia Networks International before joining Business Logic Systems, first as Vice-President of APAC and Global Operations Director, and subsequently as President & CSO of Asia Pacific, where he extended the company’s footprint through direct relationships and partnerships with Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, IBM, HP, Microsoft, Nokia-Siemens Networks among others.
