Profitable growth, institutional backing, and 18 new customers mark a defining year.

Paris, France – May 20, 2026 – Intersec, a global leader in telecom metadata and location intelligence, today reported results for its fiscal year ended March 2026, a year of strong growth, profitable operations, and a decisive expansion of its civil protection footprint across four continents.

FY2025-2026 highlights

  • 35% ARR CAGR (FY2022–2026) driven by full transition to subscription globally
  • Positive and significantly expanding EBITDA: sustained profitable growth, not just scale
  • Production-ready in under 14 days: cloud-native architecture built for rapid deployment
  • 18 new global references in 6 countries
  • 8 of 12 global Public Warning System tenders won: a 77% value-weighted win rate
  • 47 civil protection systems now deployed across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, protecting 460 million people worldwide
  • One-third of our business (33%) directly addresses climate change challenges

New institutional backing to fuel the next phase in the AI era

On March 12, 2026, Intersec completed the closing of a majority-stake investment by Tikehau Capital and Revaia, alongside the Intersec Management Team. The transaction will provide additional financial and strategic resources to support product development, geographic expansion, and potential targeted acquisitions, and reflects investor confidence in Intersec's technology leadership and AI vision. Artificial intelligence is now embedded across the Company’s operations and product lines, driving productivity gains and a faster roadmap internally, while delivering AI-enhanced features, agentic capabilities from threat detection to crisis management, and an improved user experience to customers, both for public authorities and mobile network operators.

“Intersec is a company that has earned its global leadership position through execution, not just vision. With the right backing, the opportunity ahead is significant.”

— Thierry Bonhomme, Supervisory Board Chairman

From European pioneer to global civil protection leader

The global public safety and security market is on a sustained growth trajectory, projected to expand at a CAGR of 11.98% through 2032*. Government investment in early warning systems — driven by escalating civil emergencies, from natural disasters to geopolitical instability — is the primary engine of this growth, further supported by the EW4All global initiative to accelerate mobile-enabled emergency alerting worldwide and ultimately save lives. Intersec is the defining beneficiary of this market shift. During this fiscal year alone, Intersec was awarded 8 of the 12 new Public Warning System contracts globally, reflecting both the quality of its technology and the strength of its delivery model. These wins extend Intersec's footprint well beyond Europe, establishing a significant presence across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

“I am extremely proud that our team has brought a European company to a position of genuine global leadership at a moment when sovereignty and trust in critical infrastructure have never mattered more.”

— Yann Chevalier, CEO, Intersec

5G and emergency services: a growing second engine

Alongside its civil protection leadership, Intersec continues to strengthen its position in the location-based services market, projected to grow at a CAGR of 12.6% through 2034**. The ongoing peak of 5G adoption is driving Mobile Network Operators to modernise their geolocation infrastructure, particularly for regulatory compliance and next-generation emergency call handling. Intersec is actively contributing to the modernisation of emergency call systems in multiple countries, while its metadata-driven investigation solutions are gaining traction with homeland security agencies seeking compliant, high-performance tools for police and justice applications. Together, these lines of business create a resilient, multi-vertical growth profile that reduces reliance on any single market or contract cycle.
