Intersec featured in the UN's new report on AI for Early Warning Systems" />
The UN has just released Leveraging AI to Enhance Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWS), a joint report by ITU, UNDRR, WMO, and IFRC on how AI can help achieve the Early Warnings for All (EW4All) goal. And we're proud to say Intersec is featured in it, twice.
The report highlights our Smart Alert Assistant, deployed in England to help duty officers create clear, consistent flood warnings in seconds instead of minutes, with human oversight always in the loop. It also spotlights our role in the TM Forum Virtual Command Center, where our population heatmaps and geotargeted notifications keep alerts flowing even when networks are damaged by disaster.
This recognition reflects a commitment we've held for years: helping accelerate the adoption of robust early warning systems everywhere. As an ITU-D member, we actively contribute to the AI subgroup for early warning systems, working alongside UN agencies and industry partners to turn this pledge into action.
That's also why we were on stage at AI for Good in Geneva on July 7, presenting the Smart Alert Assistant case study and demoing our AI-powered Public Warning System live.
